Terms of Service

By accessing or using CaseSetu Prep at prep.casesetu.in ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users of the Service, including free trial users and paid subscribers.

CaseSetu Prep provides an AI-powered answer evaluation service for candidates preparing for PCS-J (Provincial Civil Service — Judiciary) examinations in India. The Service uses artificial intelligence to evaluate written answers against a rubric grounded in BNS 2023, BNSS 2023, and BSA 2023. Evaluations are provided for informational and practice purposes only and do not constitute official examination assessment or legal advice.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login link and account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

New accounts receive 5 free evaluations upon registration. No credit card is required for the free trial. Paid plans (Starter, Pro, Season Pass) are available for purchase and provide additional evaluations. All prices are displayed inclusive of GST where applicable. Evaluation credits are non-transferable and tied to your account. Monthly plan credits reset at the start of each billing cycle. Season Pass credits do not expire during the validity period.

Payments are processed by Razorpay. By making a purchase you also agree to Razorpay's terms of service. Refund policy: If you experience a technical failure that prevents an evaluation from completing (e.g. server error, timeout), the evaluation credit will be restored to your account. We do not offer refunds for completed evaluations or unused credits beyond this. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, contact kantsinghsurya662@gmail.com within 7 days of the charge with your order ID.

You agree not to: • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose • Submit content that you do not have the right to share • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically download evaluation content or question bank data • Share account credentials with other users or use the Service on behalf of multiple individuals under one account • Use automated tools to submit evaluations or query the Service at scale We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without refund.

All question bank content, model answers, rubric frameworks, and evaluation output generated by CaseSetu Prep are owned by or licensed to us. You may use evaluation output for your personal exam preparation but may not reproduce or distribute it commercially. Content you submit (your answers) remains yours. By submitting it, you grant us a limited licence to process it through our AI pipeline to generate your evaluation.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". AI evaluations are generated by large language models and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. We make no guarantee that: • Evaluations are 100% accurate or reflect actual exam marking schemes • The question bank is exhaustive or up to date • The Service will be available without interruption CaseSetu Prep evaluations should be used as a practice tool, not as a substitute for qualified legal mentorship.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CaseSetu (Surya Kant Singh) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of exam results, missed deadlines, or reliance on evaluation feedback. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the three months preceding the claim.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date and notify you by email if the changes are material. Continued use of the Service after notification constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
